Street photographer. World-builder. Moving between the neon-drenched grid of Taipei and the sprawling concrete of Los Angeles — searching for the glitch in the system.

I look at the world through
a lens of cinematic distortion.

Most people walk through life looking at the surface, but I am constantly searching for the glitches — the hidden gems, the forgotten shadows, and the quiet architecture of a location that most eyes miss.

Whether I am stepping onto unmapped territory in Taipei or chasing familiar ghosts in the neon-soaked sprawl of Los Angeles, I am driven by a single, obsessive truth: there is beauty all around us. It exists in the heavy silence of an urban landscape, the fleeting pulse of street photography, and the raw, unfiltered spirit of the people who inhabit these spaces.

I don't just take photographs.
I build worlds.

Heavily inspired by the atmospheric, reality-bending worlds of The Matrix, Inception, and Blade Runner 2049 — I treat the camera like a director treats celluloid, blending the grittiness of street life with the grand scale of cinematic landscapes.

When crafting portraits, I paint with deep shadows, high-contrast light, and moody textures to freeze moments that feel like a frame from a high-stakes cyberpunk epic.

When you step in front of my camera, the simulation drops. I collaborate with clients who want to shed their armor and express their rawest, most authentic selves. Every face holds a myth, every body is a canvas — in the theater of my lens, you aren't just a subject.

I am James Kush. You are the architect of the dream, and you are the star of the movie.
